I’ve spent the last forty five years building thousands of buildings — homes, apartments, remodels, rehabs, historic restorations. I now find my mind turning toward very small structures and their various uses. Tiny homes, studios, work sheds, playhouses, mother in laws all present interesting opportunities.
Does this strike a chord with anyone else? From what I see on social media, thousands of people are creating small homes for themselves that help conserve their personal capital and provide them shelter. I have yet to see anyone in the Indianapolis area actually build and live in a tiny home. If you have, give me a heads up at Bob@Mapleroadinc.com. I would really like to take a look at how they have worked to solve the various problems presented by that kind of project.
